5 Key Environmental Goals

Waste Minimization

One of the ways people often forget about in terms of waste management is waste minimization. The best way to handle waste is by first not producing it. We aim to make the most out of each of our pieces of wood and make a goal of not throwing away any piece of wood smaller than a dime. Our company strives to not throw away any piece of wood smaller than a quarter.

Product Use & Life

We pride ourselves in having a minimal environmental impact during the use and life of the product. None of our toys require batteries minimizing the waste from them. Similarly none of our toys require electricity and therefore removing those environmental impacts.

Protecting Forests

One of the major environmental goals of any company working with woods is to reduce the effects on forests. We only work with companies with sustainable policies in effect.

Waste Reuse

Not only do we reuse our own wastes, but we use the wastes from other industries as well. Many industries incluiding furniture, flooring, and cabinet making require wood. The wood for these industries is required to be large planks, but often they cut off many smaller pieces. These smaller pieces and endcuts that are too small to be used by them can be used by our company.

End of Life of Product

Simply put the toys have a miniminal impact on the environment because it's just naturally occuring woods. It can be disposed of as any anyother woods are after the protective coat is sanded off. We advise that you look up the proper way to dispose of this wood and use it. However, we advise that you look up the safety of burning certain types of woods. We advise against burning if all woods within the toy are unknown as some woods may not burn safely.
